Subject: I have some questions . . .

Hi I'm just getting my first miniature donkey. I wanted to know a few things before i get one. One thing i wanted to know was about how much weight can they comfertabley carry? Another thing was How many times a day should they get fed. The last thing is, do they really he haw at about 5 in the morning? I live in Wisconsin if anyone knows any breeders close to there and I have 13 acres so it should have plenty of space. Thanx everyone!

Here's some answers to your questions:

<One thing i wanted to know was about how much weight can they comfertabley carry?>
I really don't know the answer but probably not more than a 100 lb.

<Another thing was How many times a day should they get fed.> I feed my Donkeys twice a day: about a flake of hay in the morning, and in the evening I give a cup of grain with another flake of hay.

<The last thing is, do they really he haw at about 5 in the morning?> When is gets light out our donkeys start waking up and 'calling' for there food. Some will, some won't.
