FYI, someone posted this in the Eva Cassidy Guestbook. Please share it with all your colleagues. Sounds as if it was a great show!

You have a new message in your guestbook: Guestbook for Eva Cassidy

Dear Laura:
Thanks for the tip on MEDICINE WHEEL in Chicago! What a great show they put on. Every one who attended Martyrs got a hand out that described, in a sentence, something about each song. We thought we would share the words about EVA with all of you.

"EVA, represents the dream of being whole again, being part legend, part, hero, and part angel. The song is an homage to EVA CASSIDAY who was all of these. The voice you hear through the house system before and after the show is that of hers."

The band had tons of energy and was very refreshing, being that not many bands attempt concept albums. We stayed and met a couple of the members, johnny and sandra lee. Great people, great sounds and GREAT VIBE! And hearing EVA'S voice before they hit the stage and well into the evening, after the show, made our evening complete.

Note: The lead singer, Paul Bolger, sung a very moving rendition of "Somewhere over the Rainbow" leading right into the song Eva that put a lump in alot of peoples throats. You could really feel it.

Thanks again Laura I think we're going to see them again next thursday evening in Michigan City, IN at Sullivans.
We went to their web site at medicinewheelmusic.com to get more info.
