Apparently tiic realize that Genie Francis can generate more viewers for them, so they are bringing her back for a ratings period. However, they aren't going to take advantage of Luke and Laura's history and the chemistry of these two . . . so I guess they are willing to be satisfied with a mediocre bump in ratings instead of a homerun.
