Date Posted: 08:14:26 03/15/05 Tue Hi Klaus! Sent you a photo yesterday, thought I'd mention it here for all the CFL fans benefit. Photo is from a 1970 newspaper insert on the Hamilton Ti-Cats history. This game action pic shows the Ti-Cats and Lions in a i 1967 game. The Lions helmet logo shows that the "BC" in the lions head was black......answering a question that has been raised now and then wondering if the Lions ever did wear a black BC or not. There is some ephemeral information suggesting they did in 1975 but no proof. This photo is proof of a 1967 logo change. Incidentally, it also shows that the Ti-Cats wore that leaping tiger with the maple leaf background for more than the Grey Cup and/or playoffs as this game was surely a regular season game. In addition, I now have a game action newspaper photo showing that the Toronto Argos wore the white shell with blue stripe and blue letter "A" in both 1966 and 1967, rather than only 1967 as was previously thought.
