Subject: Am I too wary

I play cricket with the father of this damn fine girl, and she's just started at my college. I'd really like to ask her out but she seems too good for me, she hangs out with the popular people, popular guys, and well I can't find fault with her but I know all too well I have faults...

I think the biggest reason I don't ask her out is because I'm concerned about what others may think such as her Dad when I see him every week, or what she people at college would say if I asked her out and she wasn't at all interested. I think she is, she asks a bit about me through my mum at cricket, and we're both nervous when we talk to each other lol.

What do you all think I should do? I expect you'll just say get on with it, be more confident etc but I suppose maybe I could do with hearing that from some people.
