Subject: shaved...down there

Elisha,
i decided to shave "down there" because i thought it would be better and look nicer...you know how the story goes. well, i did so, used shaving cream and shaved very carefully....but now i have these red, itchy bumps- which i assume is razor burn? or is it not? what is it? and how can i help it? heal it? prevent it? and what should be the RIGHT way to get rid of hair down there? help!...please tell me that i dont have to freak out this much! i would appriciate any advice you can give me. THANKS!
