Subject: i hate my curly hair!!!...*sniff*sniff*

please please help me!!!...i have mulatto hair and its very very curly. im so sick about it because ive been wearing a hat for about 5 years now. i want to know how i can get my locks straight. my hairdresser is white and he has tried a permanent on it..but it doesnt ever work...a waste of time and money. ive never used anything else on my hair other than a perm. can you help me? i would also prefer to do it myself or be able to take to my salon.
