One great thing I've noticed about the Miss Kentucky Pageant in the last few years, is that they have been crowning facially attractive women! I believe each Miss Kentucky since Kerri Mitchell has had a BEAUTIFUL FACE! Think about it,

Emily
and now Mallory
They all have pretty faces! Which is great for getting photographed and being in print!

So even if we've found faults with our Miss KY's in some way or another, you can't really deny a lot of them are facially attractive!

The Miss Kentucky Teen America, Jr. Teen America, and Kentucky’s Princess Pageants are accepting applications for their upcoming event, to be held January 9-10, 2010 at the Downtown Lexington Hotel. There are 5 divisions for girls ages 3-18.

All division winners receive an impressive prize package and the honor of representing Kentucky throughout the year at numerous events and special appearances. All contestants are recognized on stage as a state finalist. Semi finalist, non-finalist, and optional awards will also be given. In addition, Teen and Junior Teen winners receive a cash award.

Entry fees are of the lowest in the state for a pageant of this caliber; Princess Divisions- $100, Miss Kentucky Jr. Teen America - $200, Miss Kentucky Teen America - $250. There are no required ad sales and no production fees.

Deadline for all applications and complete entry fees is December 16, 2009!

Katie Himes, Miss Kentucky Teen America 2009 is your new Miss Teen America 2010! Katie was just crowned this evening in Hartford, CT!

Katie came home with not only the crown, but with several division awards as well. She was highest scorer in the categories of swim suit, talent, and modeling. In addition, Katie won the Academic Achievement award for the junior class which was separate from the scoring for the overall pageant.

Miss Kentucky Junior Teen Bailey Brown also did a great job! The representative from GA took home the crown, but Bailey was amazing as always. Bailey tied for top honors in Academic Achievement for the 7th Grade Class of delegates.

Congratulations to both girls on a great weekend and most of all a great year! Best wishes to Katie as she begins her journey as a national title holder!

Miss Motor Speedway® & Miss Teen Motor Speedway® Pageant assist contestants who need scholarship assistance and pageant entry fee assistance. Winners will receive a $1,000 cash prize and additional prizes. Winners will be Volunteers and Members of the NASCAR Foundation. They will make appearances at selected NASCAR races and events.

The National "Miss Motor Speedway Pageant®" will be held at Vanderbilt University Student Life Center in Nashville, TN on Saturday, March 13, 2010. The Miss Motor Speedway Pageant® is a volunteer and member of the NASCAR Foundation.

On Sunday December the 6th, the Miss Bowling Green Board of Directors will be holding the Tiny Miss, Little Miss,Jr.Pre-Teen, and Pre-Teen Miss Bowling Green pageant at the Brownsville Community Center in Brownsville Ky. The pageant will begin at 3pm Central and regestration will begin at 2. This is for girls between the ages of 3 and 12. Contestants will compete in either Pageant Dress, Sunday Dress, or Party Dress. Winners will have the option to compete in the State pageant to be held in Richmond this spring. Entry Fee is $50.00.Winners will recieve Crown, Trophie and Sash, runners up will recieve trophies. Reservations will not be taken via phone. Orchestra Level Reserved tickets will be able to be picked up anytime tickets are sold.

**Grand Tier General Admission tickets will be sold at the Welcome reception to contestants and their families at the Community Arts Center on November 27 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be also sold on Saturday the 28th at 11:00 a.m. in The Norton Center Grand Hall and again 30 minutes before the door opens for the show on Saturday the 28th and all-day Sunday the 29th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30p.m. in the Norton Center Grand Hall. Checks and Cash ONLLY! No credit cards accepted.

If you could have a management team coordinating ur dd pgnt career, would you? For example
Researching ur pgnts, designing her dress, creating her Beauty Routine, Designing her Swimwear, and routine.
Doing her Headshots including H/M & phototopper
This would be a real team of several professionals (directors, photographer, H&M artist, designer) all collaborating to design the perfect image for her.
And accompanying u to her pgnts
Do you think that would be worth it? How much would you pay for that? I'm thinking of using this team but it is expensive but I've spent so much money as it is at least I wouldn't stress & could enjoy it.. Gimme ur honest opinion

Ky usa is this weekend and I can't believe that no one knows who is going to be in it! How do I know if I want to drive all the way to Danville and blow a bunch of money on tickets when I don't have a clue who I will be watching???

All forms for Bowling Green's Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Junior Pre-Teen and Pre-Teen will be up on our website in a few days. The pageant will be on Sunday December the 6th at 3 p.m. central time at the community center in Brownsville Kentucky. Each age group will only compete in Evening Gown,Party,or Sunday dress. Winners will have the option to compete in the State pageant. This pageant is open to any one in the state of Kentucky. Our website is missbowlinggreen@tripdo.com.
