Dear Mr. Geoffrey Fieger: I know you, of course, from Court-TV. Our deceased son, Jeremy, was a victim of inferior and indifference of medical treatment at the hands of two of his former cardiologists, one of our local ERs, and his last cardiologists. Jeremy visit a cardilogist over a 100 miles from home on February 14, 2003. The visit was wanton to the CONGESTED HEART CLINIC due to his last hospital stay January 13-20, 2003. The attending cardiologist found due evidence that Jeremy heart function was so poor Jeremy should visit the specialist again. Jeremy had been previously followed by this cardiac specialist. At Jeremy's visit, he was seen by the nurse practioner and the cardiologist. Per Jeremy's report to me and medical record, Jeremy was told if medical findings find Jeremy not to be ok then he would see Jeremy in a month. But if he was Ok, then he would see Jeremy in two months. THE cardiologist approved Jeremy OK that day and sent him home. Jeremy dropped dead the next day, lees than 24 hours, after he last saw the cardiologist. Of course, a letter did follow for Jeremy to return to the CONGESTED HEART CLINIC approx 2 months after his last visit. Jeremy was not well. His diagnosis did not permit Jeremy to be well. Jeremy's tolerence was poor. His energy level and voice volume was not former maximum (equal to his last hospital stay). These refences are an attempt to explain Jeremy's treatment. I need you to help, if possible in wrongful death. I, also, hope you can help me in an appeal for a medical malpractice calim. In July, 2002 Jeremy was forced to file his own medical neglience claim without representation. He and I had sought legal representaion from law firms. The firm would reply that even if Jeremy experienc medical neglience that it cost too much to prosecute due to the need of a medical expert. I do wonder if Jeremy received inferior treatment due to who he was, a poor, black man in Florence. I DO HOPE you can help me. I need to add, I have until Febuary 23,2004 to obtain legal representation. There are medical records that support and detail my claims. THANK YOU
