But people ARE 'getting their panties in a bunch' over it. Just look/listen to all the news stations. That is their main topic lately. They can not mention MJ without mentioning and 'examining' the NOI.
Being a light colored black man doesn't make him any less black. If a white person gets a dark tan does that change their race? No it doesn't. And just about any organization would love to have some 'face time' on TV, they most likely have but it isn't as noticed if your organization isn't a race oriented organization.
There shouldn't even be any discussion over skin color. A human being is a human being no matter what. This is why I believe these groups are formed and stay active, because people can not (refuse to) be color blind.
