Good, you took a couple of deep breaths, Diva because it feels like your about to implode. Girl you are back in history, I mean waaaay back. Does it ever occur to you that the people here do not hold the same opinions as the people your ancestors encountered in the Civil War Era.
I think it is so damn easy to blame others for your plight in life; for me it's like the grown man who goes into therapy and blames his mother for every bad thing that happened to him his whole life. Course the poor woman is dead and can't speak for herself, but, hey all the better.
It allows him to do NOTHING.
Get a clue Diva; the past has passed. You can sing this tired old song for the rest of your life if you want and it ain't gonna change a damn thing. As I said before, it's history - it was awful, it happened, it's over.
It's time for black people to move on and realize that you are no longer kept under someone's thumb. You can attend any college you want, you can apply for and get any job you are qualified for. You can speak out, you can serve in Government (ask Condi Rice, and while you're at it ask General Powell our Secretary of State). God, how I wish Martin Luther King was still here, he would be unhappy IMO about the black people who just blame, blame, blame, and do nothing.
I don't think that was his dream.
