Had you bothered to read the post to the right, racism is STILL going on!! And now it's also renewed itself against the Muslims. I personally don't appreciate my friends getting pulled over and denied jobs! And I also don't appreciate having budgets cut because the main participants are of color(this is work related, I'm not going into too much detail). And you're wrong, still much racism against the Jews from other whites. You should hear what a white businessman I know says! I am still hearing stereotypes which I don't like. And I agree that many people who insult Jews are jealous because Jewish people often own their own businesses. And no, I don't know that black people don't want their children to intermarry. Interracial dating is quite common. Sure there are a few who don't believe in it, but I sure wouldn't be one of them and I know many who date other races. And no, the South is still the South deep down, you obviously don't hear the comments I did from Southerners.
I think you actually lived a sheltered life with very few problems. Otherwise you wouldn't discount what happens to others like you do. I am very sensitive to things that happen to others. My childhood was like the school of hard knocks because I had to learn things the hard way, which is not always good, let me tell you! And yes, what happens in your childhood DOES shape you!
