DETROIT The family of a woman whose 5-year-old son was scolded by a 9-1-1 operator when he called for help plans to file a lawsuit.
Forty-six-year-old Sherrill Turner died on February 20th after collapsing at home. Her son told a 9-1-1 operator that his mother had passed out, but the operator asked to speak with an adult.
When he called back later, an operator told him: "You shouldn't be playing on the phone."
