I do have to admit that there are times I wonder if Geoff is doing the right thing for his client or simply trying to put on a show for his own aggrandizement. You would think after having so many of his decisions overturned all for the same reason (theatrics and misstatements) he would begin to ask himself why he keeps doing the same things over and over but expects a different outcome. I was always told that is a sure sign of needing to take stock of yourself and make some necessary changes.
No question he has talent; no question he knows the law; no question juries like him. Unfortunately no question that judges (particularly appellate judges) don't like him.
The pity of it all is he doesn't NEED to do the dog and pony act - his talent can stand alone.
It seems Mr. Fieger has no "off" button.
On another topic the quote cited above from Attorney Thompson is about as stupid as I've ever seen. He blasts Fieger for taking on the case of the man in prison who committed suicide, BECAUSE Fieger is an advocate for terminally ill people who wish to die. There just isn't any connection in my opinion and it was a really dumb statement for Thompson to make.
