I attend a private college. I receive financial aid. My financial for this year wasa little over 6,000.00. I selected my classes according to my financial award. My college gave a letter to back up the money I received. This week, I was not able to get into my classes. I went to see the registar's office and was informed I was dropped from my classes. I was told by the financial aid person my tuition award was only for a little over 4,000.00 and I needed 2,400 to stay in school. I was treated like a terrorist regarding not being financial responsible for my tuition. I explained to them that I was informed I received over 6,000.00 in financial aid. They won't admit to making a mistake. They informed in that they will let my know on Monday regarding the financial aid. If they put the money back I can continue with my education. If not, I have two choices: pay the 2,400.00 or be dropped from college this semester. They never informed by letter that I was dropped from college. I found out when I went to the financial office. I was never informed officially that I was kicked out of school
