I would mumble 'stairs, must watch stairs....' every few minutes. You wouldn't believe how much more room people give you on the subways when you appear insane.

LOL! Exactly! I'm extremely happy that she's so excited about getting involved in so many different things. She's usually pretty shy, but I'm glad she's putting herself out there more, meeting new friend and such.

I dunno. I hadn't really thought to ask how often he usually has to leave, but he said he's been having to make these trips pretty frequent in the past few months. I'll have to ask him next time we talk, what the norm is.
