I see you're not online, otherwise I'd fill you in on AIM. :/ I dunno if I should post you on this board, or the other, so, I'll do it twice. :D
Well, I've had a hellish day. This morning after I dropped Audie off at day-care, I came home to over-see the moving in of my furniture. One of the guys stopped by at about ten, and said they'd have to push it back till tomorrow. I shrugged it off, and decided to go back and pick Audie up early, and maybe go the Central Park or go shopping or something. I was on my way down the stairs (the elevator was conviently out of service for repairs) and I tripped. It was only three stairs, but I dislocated my left knee. YOOOOOOOOW!
Anyway, I called 911, told them to look for me on the staircase (I couldn't and still can't put pressure on the leg) even after I popped it back (wonderful image, right?). The paramedics came, did their thing (had a helluva time manuvering me on the gurney down the rest of the fourteen flights of stairs. LOL!)
In related news, I've met the man I want to marry. Then again, this could be the Vicadin talking. *shrugs* Anyways, I don't know his name, but I know he's a very cute, very polite, very funny EMT. He wasn't Johnny Depp gorgeous, but he was seriously cute. He had short dark hair, and I truthfully can't remember what colour his eyes were... I dunno. Maybe it's just the whole "hero" thing I liked to much. My savior. :D Granted, I'll probably never see him again (unless I hurdle myself down more stairs in an effort to).
Anyway, I got to the hospital by ambulance, was moved around from the ER to MedExpress (which actually has nothing "Express" about it) and sat around waiting for an X-ray or pain killers for about an hour. I finally emerged just about an hour ago, took a cab home with a "soft cast" on my knee and a "stirrup splint" on my sprained ankle. I of couse first stopped and picked up Audie, and somehow managed up the stairs with crutches and Baby Girl crying and saying "momma hurt!" every ten seconds.
So... how was your day? :)
