Melihari, Griff

That's ok. I was gone all weekend, visiting a friend anyway, so don't worry about it. I'm so happy for you and your sister. You're going to really like Uni, I think. I do at least. Everything's so new and different, especially different from the island. lol I'm glad that you won't have to leave your gf behind. That would be hard. I could only imagine.

>I'm so unloved, no one likes me and no
>one's replying! lol jk

LOL exactly
>>
>I've lived here since I was 14. It's
>really...different. lol But, I've come to like it.
>At least we have all the modern efficiencies and we're
>not like remote or cut-off from civilization,
>completely. lol

That's very different from our island. Only the very rich own their own computers. For everyone else, there's a computer or two at the library. The lines are always so long to get on them, that I just don't even bother, most of the time. And, no one has a phone, except the very rich. So, if you want to use the phone, you just go down to the corner market and use the pay phone there.
>>
>I am totally planning on spending equal times partying
>and studying. lol No worries there.

LOL Well, there's pleanty of opportunity for both, here at Uni.
>>>
>I know. I'm so nice. lol Well, I'm not published,
>yet, so don't get too excited about it. I'll let you
>knwo when it happens, though. lol

LOL Well, you certainly don't have any esteem issues. lol ok, you do that. :)
>>
>Actually, I like hearing about where you're from.
>It's very interesting. So, can I ask you some
>questions about it?

Of course. I'm an exchange student and that's part of the contract. I have to answer any questions that anyone asks me about my home. What do they call it? "A mutual exchange of cultural ideals", I think. lol

I was wondering, and I'm sure I'm
>going to sound totally stupid when I ask you this,
>but, do you have cars?

You do not sound stupid at all. I asked the same thing about Pleasantview before I moved here. lol We do have cars, but only the very rich can afford to own their own cars. The rest of us just walk everywhere or take the taxi. The businesses, that need them, like delivery services, etc, have vans. But, the island is not very big. You could walk across the entire island in a day and a half, so it's not a big deal to walk. Oh, and some islanders who live up the mountain have rovers or hummers.

And, what about simoleans?
>What is your monetary system like?

It's similar. We have coins, paper simoleans and plastic cards, but we also have vouchers. We also still have a very good barter system as well.

What kinds of
>foods do you like to eat?

We eat mostly fruits, roots and vegetables with only some meat. Our food is sort of spicy and if you're not used to it, it can really bring tears to your eyes. lol And, we drink mostly water, wines and beers. The water here is so delicious you can drink it right from the stream and it won't make you sick. Our desserts are usually very sweet and sticky and delicious.

I'm so glad that you've asked me about my country. Hardly anyone ever asks. And I love to talk about Sokitumi. It's important to me, you know? And, you didn't sound stupid at all. Anytime you want to aks, just let me know.

Ok, so now my turn, right? lol Do you own a car? What kind of clothes do your people wear? How old are you and your sister, now? Do you think you'll be very homesick when you get to uni?

wbs, lahu

Nic
