Subject: Remembering my Precious Special Angel

My Precious Angel Pamela Joyanne was an abused child(birth mom) which left her severely disabled. I took her into my home at age 7.I cared for her for 10 years. The last 4-1/2 years I stayed home to care for her 24/7 as her health deteriorated. I saw her through 37 hospital stays that totaled 168 days. Also 15 surgeries. I learned how to do G-tube, J-tube, feedings and site cares. Over the years she had a Port-a-cath, a PICC line then a Hickman cath. the last 14 months I did TPN, this is a special formula that was fed through her heart. So I had to do sterile site cares and IV medications.The last 4 months of her life she had several septic infections, the last 6 weeks she was under the care of hospice. They helped with pain control.Dec 1,2004 we moved her to the hospital that had become our second home. She struggled for each and every breath, and her heart beat rapidly for 3 days. It was gut wrentching to watch my special angel struggle so. I NEVER thought as a Mom I would plead with God to take my child, allowing her to suffer no more. After all , she NEVER asked to be the way she was!! Dec 3, after all her favorite Nurses, Doctors, friends, and family had said their goodbyes, she suffered a massive heart attack as her little heart could no longer keep up. I gathered her into my lap and held her as she slowly and quietly finally let go and died. Your precious hands touched many lives. Our lives were so richly blessed because you came our way!!You're sadly missed by all who had the cahnce to meet you. Run now my Angel to the arms of Jesus.....you're whole again!!! I love you with all my Heart!!!!!
