Subject: Phillip "Flip" Brummitt, My Son, My Friend

There are no words to describe the special guy that Phil was. He was so handsome and smart, but best of all, he was a friend to all he met. He had a kind heart. Phil was a big jokester, he loved to make people laugh. And he was good at it!! He was always on the move, and made a 24 hour day into 36 hours. He loved VW's, he always wanted to be a VW tech. He had his 21st birthday, and he had finished his schooling as a Porsche Tech. Things were going so well for him. All his dreams were just starting to come true. He had a future ahead of him. Then, the awful accident. He left this earth while driving his beloved VW Scirocco. He was so proud of that car. We were so, so proud of him. The pain is always there, lurking. Sometimes it is unbearable. Our hope is in heaven, where we know we will see his beautiful smiling face again. Phil left a big empty place in our hearts, and we will miss him until we meet again. We remember Phil with smiles, we miss him with tears. 03/13/83-06/13/04 His lucky #13 was not so lucky for us that day. We will never, ever forget you, Phil. We'll be loving you forever... Mom, Erica, Dad, and the extended Bluhm & Brummitt families
