Subject: Remembering David

It's been almost 6 months since I lost you. I carried you for 20 weeks, in that short time you touched my heart in a way I never dreamed possible. You were so very loved and wanted. From the moment I found out I was pregnant you were my everything. I knew you were a boy before I even had a sonogram, your daddy knew too. I can't even begin to put into words what you meant to me, how much I loved you. The doctors said placental abruption for no known reason is why I lost you. You were so tiny but perfect. Your daddy and I only got to hold you for a little while but I have the pictures the hospital gave me. I cant look at them very much because it hurts so much. You are in my heart and thoughts every second of everyday. I would give anything to have you here with me. I know we will be together again one day, until then I pray for the strength to carry on without you. It's the hardest thing I'v ever had to do. The love a parent has for a child is a bond and connection like nothing else in this world and the pain that comes from loosing a child is unbearable. I love you with all my heart and soul David John Blevins.
