Dear Alvin,

Whew! Breathing a sigh of relief here! What would life be without garlic? I am glad to know you can eat cooked garlic. I don't much care for raw garlic. My father-in-law was eating too much raw garlic. And he was taking garlic tabs. All this led to his blood being way too thin. Can you believe it? His choloestrol was dangeroulsy low. Now how many of us have that problem?

I don't like dishes with any offals. My mother used to eat calf brains and eggs. Horribly disgusting! I don't eat anything from pigs. Nothing religious. I like pigs. I collect pig figurines and pig toys. Pigs are the most intelligent of domesticated non-human animals. And contrary to popular belief, they are quite clean when given the opportunity to be so. People in this country have pet pigs. They make wonderful companions. But you have to have lots of room for them.

Speaking about food, our friend was telling us about going to a traditional Chinese dinner. We had to keep from laughing as she kept sticking up her nose. She admits she is very finicky about food. She says she doesn't eat chicken. But we caught her eating it at a dinner we all went to some weeks before. She couldn't get over the chicken head being on the table at the traditional Chinese dinner. I wish you could have seen her face as she described this dinner.

Love And Blessed Be,
Theresa
