Please don't let other people force their spiritual beliefs on you. You must search for yourself. Yes, books do help to a certain extent. But you must go within and find the answers there. You must search your own soul. Do not let others dictate to you what spiritual path you must follow. That answer lies within you. Lots of people claim others are following the devil when others do not live the way those people see fit. I will have to say there is no devil in my knowledge. The so-called devil is a human invention. That is not to say I do not know evil exists. It most certainly does. I do know there are evil entities. Unfortunately, I have come across them and had to exorcise them. Not an exorcism as is done in the Catholic Church. Only a Roman Catholic priests who specializes in Catholic exorcisms can do that. I choose the term " exorcism, because it is the closest word I can find. My husband and I did this in Malaysia. Now I am not saying your knowledge has to be the same as mine. I am not telling you not to be aware of an entity called the devil. No matter what we call it evil is evil and is to be eradicated.

I am going to tell you a story about people who tell other people they are into the devil. I had a good friend at our local university. We were both taking an upper-division creative writing course. And we were the only ones to write fantasy/scifi. So I thought she was a very open person as to esoteric matters. I was quite surprised to see her reaction. But I was able to put what I had to say into perspective for her, and I could see the wheels turning in her brain. I told her I had been able to read text with my eyes closed. The text was not braille. I cannot read braille. I read the text with my finger tips. I have been able to do this on occasion. She looked at me and asked me would that not be the work of the devil. She kept telling me it was from the devil. I told her to think about it for a minute. I told her this was probably a gift from the Divine. Think about it. What if this talent can be harnessed and taught. What a wonderful difference it would make for blind people. So you see. You need to go within yourself and come up with your own soul's truth.
