Got it, Theresa. You are right that giving Sunflowers instead of Roses is a more telling sign.

Don't be sad over the crossing over of a very dear person. In fact, I once read that life over there is even more vibrant... and many people on the physical plane here are even deadier than the 'dead'!

May you be brightened by the rays of the Sun(flowers).
