Into the Moonlight In the land of Noctrayn, lycans of every species that had once co-existed well enough with each other, became cold to all but their own species. The canines were the largest group, however, and decided that they should be the only lycans in existance. Working in harmonic packs, they preyed upon the minorites, almost causing extinction. Only a handful from each species survived. These 'left-overs', so to speak, banded together, staying hidden for ages until their numbers were great enough to put the canines in their place.
