William grinned, holding back laughter. ‘Jumpy one.’ He thought with amusement. He realized people were staring and said aloud, “Sorry to frighten you miss.” There was no reason to add more suspicious stares. Luckily no one had heard him, but if this girl could just keep her mouth shut and quiet…

“I have nothing to worry about.” He replied. Like the code, it meant one thing to ignorant eavesdroppers and another to fellow indigos. His deep blue eyes flashed as more people entered the already busy Café. It was quickly becoming to dangerous to speak about delicate things. “Perhaps a different location would be best.” He winked and grinned, loving to deceive any listeners. “Do you know the old church? Near the library if you can spot that,” He stood to leave. The church was always empty during the week. Even the humans who worshiped there didn’t seem to bother visiting their sacred building then. It was a literal sanctuary until Sunday. “If you‘re interested, meet me there. We Blue-Eyes gotta stick together.”

Will Leverett left with that, hoping the girl would be interested. They currently were low on numbers, and these things always seemed to happen at the worst of times.
