[> Subject: All of the guy's currently holding a spot are willing to race if challenged. But nobody calls them out. I would also like to see some of these spot holders try to move up. Like, Carlos for example. I thought he was going to the top. Or at least some where in the top 5. Or maybe Chicken? I don't know....just nobody wants to move up the list. Undertaker is doing his 5.80 deal but I'm sorry, to me that is nothing more than "bracket racing" with another name. Seems all the big tracks are going to this so it's not just happening here in the RGV. Most guys now a days want to race for their own "PB" or Personal Best. They are not interested in lining up next to another fast car. Everybody is afraid to lose.

[> Subject: You make valid points mod, most racers here in the RGV are afraid to lose. Another probability could be the high rocketing gas prices. 10 years ago racing here was at its peak even supporting two boards and several board wars. those were the good old spot racing days that everyone and their mother lost interest in.

[> Subject: Sorry Bro, but that night was my Grandson and my Father's birthday's. In the past we would have brought the pit to the track with the whole family and had a big ole' pachanga. But under the new rules no pits are allowed. So we partied at home. I do appreciate you stepping up. Post up the next time you will be out there and we will try to make it.

[> Subject: Lol at people attacking the Mod. People need to realize the good "ol" days of racing are that, OLD DAYS. Times have REALLY changed in the racing scene here in the valley, main point- racers grew up and had kids. Its hard to provide for a family AND support this expensive hobby. Like its been said, gas prices are no where near what they were when racing was at its peak 10 years ago, we could go to the track and cruise afterwards with 20 bucks of gas. If anything, embrace the car shows that the Mod keeps updating us on, its a perfect way to spend a day outside WITH the family and still be around cars.

[> Subject: You can challenge up to the highest open spot. Once you have that spot then you can challenge the spot holder above you. They have 2 weeks to race or they have to give up their spot.
