It may have been smooth. They let Premananda do the vedic ascension service for Guruji (later he was airbrushed out of the picture).

Roy told me Master told him this face to face. Roy told me directly and in person. I think there are few straight shooters like Roy Davis in the world.

This is not to say Guruji did not love Premananda nor that Premananda was not spiritually advanced and a help to the work.

Guruji also told Roy that Rajarsi was a little attached to money in 1949 so Master asked him to buy Lake Shrine and rid him of the trait. These character flaws continue until the moment of full liberation. In Rajarsi's case this was his last one.
