There is another person from the United States if my memory serves me well, that wrote a book about Mahavatar Babaji and claimed he received Disksha and was ordained as Da Acharya by Babaji himself.

There must have been a lot of American devotees. I believe Radhe Shyam is an American too - he had a high-ranking job and then turned yogi.

One of the first was Leonard Orr, the 'rebirthing' teacher (see link at bottom of message).
