Author: mkim Can't get this out o f my head today.
Subject: I've been thinking alot about Parkinson's disease since I posted last. One of the things that strikes me besides the total debility is that the persons ability to change their facial expression is affected. Can you imagine Robin Williams unable to smile??? How awful for him.
In reply to: chris k 's message, "I saw that too and everything made much more sense - This is a man whose entire way of life involved over the top and constant movement - and if he already suffered from depression I can see where he chosing between ending a life that had already accomplished all he wanted and living life in a chair where speech and motion could quickly become impossible became too much for him. I tell my kids all the time - I have a big bucket list of things I want to do - but if I get hit by a bus tomorrow that's okay I've lived a good life. Maybe that's what he was thinking" on 08:50:12 08/15/14 Fri
