Not sure who of you still watch Castle but is seems Stana Katic who plays Kate Beckett is not being asked back for a S9. So they plan to go ahead without one half of the leads that made the show. Remind you of anything?

I ask you to call or email them and tell them won't watch a S9 without Kate Beckett so either bring her back or end the show. Here is the number and email info

After thinking about it, they were certainly in your face with the whole "Beckett will die by the end of the night" line. They are never that blatant about anything in a promo unless it is to deliberately mislead you. Thank how many times in a promo they have made it look like something horrible was sure to happen, yet when you see the actual episode you realize it was nothing, or taken out of context, or something.

I think they are just setting us up to think she is going to die but they aren't actually going to kill her character off. Seems like ABC would want to keep their options open just in case. And remember they filmed both endings before they knew Stana wasn't going to be signed for next season.

So I choose to have hope that Monday's ep isn't going to be as awful as I initially thought.
