Subject: I need advice

I don't think I can do your poem thingy, sorry. I hope this gets off the ground because I love message boards! Just wanted to share that I recently had a moment of panic and nearly bought $300 worth of curriculum. I am over it now and we are still on track. I am wondering how you all tell people that you unschool or do you? The word has such a bad rap around "my neck of the woods" (ignorance really) I am not sure how to tell people. (I am in Kansas, the land of thinking INSIDE the box) I am excited about it and feel like I almost have to hide it around here. What should I do?
