Subject: STATE REQUIREMENTS

WE LIVE IN OHIO/ REQUIRING CURRICULUM LIST & STANDARDIZED TESTING.
IN THE PROCESS OF TRYING THE HOMESCHOOL APPROACH IN OUR FIRST TWO KIDS' PRESCHOOL YEARS I AM SEEING THE VALUE IN THE UNSCHOOLING APPROACH. LUKE THE OLDEST WILL BE 6 IN MAY AND I WILL NEED TO CONTACT THE SCHOOL SUPER., I ASSUME BY THE BEGINING OF NEXT SCHOOL YEAR. ALL OF THE UNSCHOOLING SITES I'VE VISITED GIVE NO MENTION OF THOSE OF US THAT ARE IN STATES THAT HAVE REQUIREMENTS EXPECTED OF THEM. IF I WANT TO TRUELY UNSCHOOL WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?
