This...is what I was created for!

The mismatched creature's mind raced, eyes darting as though in slow motion along the masses of Vain. He, of course, knew where the real Vain was, it wasn't hard to see. But that was beside the concept of the Now. Inside the concept and theory of now, was absolute chaos. Chaos spreading her hands to embrace the order that had been and strangle the life from it. It was a complete release of her desciple upon these....puppets.

The truck that flew through the building slammed full force into Chaos' creation, and complete obliterated itself, chunks of metal and debris flying in all directions. It was the scene of the truck verses the Tree. The truck always loses.

Six Vains dog piled Wyrd, completely covering him, and attempting to work their corruption upon him as well. What they failed to realize was that Chaos could never be corruption. Chaos was corruption. The corruption of order and perfection. Trying to do so ensured their demise, as each on incinerated themselves on touch with Wyrd. Of course the real one wouldn't be so foolish.

It mattered not. Wyrd would kill every single one of them until he found came to the real one. It mattered not to him that these were people, corrupted to the very soul to do Vain's bidding.

FATE was the only thing protecting Jin. Each that came close to him lost its Fate and vanished. Wyrd only smiled, and followed those that fled outside, and methodically, one by one, ripped them apart.

One slashed for Wyrd's neck. He lost his arm, then his "life". One attepted to tackle Wyrd. He was reduced to nothing but cinders, if that. One tried to run. Wyrd merely trounced him and blooded him, if what you could call inside him was blood. Furred lips licked themselves clean of the viscious black liquid.

Corruption was sweet.

Crimson eyes raised dangerously, as a few of the Vains paused to reguard this creature briefly, each looking at him dumbly. One by one, they were slain, even before they knew what had happened. Nothing of them was left, not even a greasy smear upon the pavement.

It would take Wyrd days to clean out the city of Vains, and by then, the real one would be long gone.

But Wyrd would find him. The real Vain was marked ever so subtly by Chaos' own creature. No matter where he would go, Wyrd could find him.

As of the moment however, he could not leave the city. He would follow where Jin would go, even if the task at hand was not completed.

Unless.... Silver teeth shown in a visious grin.

He raised one paw, claws out stretched in a deadly embrace, claw that could rend tender flesh to nothingness, and smite even mithril in half.

"CLAWS OF DESOLATION!"

He slashed at the air, leaving behind three seperate slashed in the air from his claws that traveled at ungodly speeds through the city. In almost no time, half of the city was reduced to nothing more than a smoldering, smoking crater. Ever Vain within the range of those claws was obliterated.

Wyrd smile. His time was cut in half. It would now only take half a day to clear the city of Vain before preying on the real on.

The hunt began.
