Wyrd followed as soon as Jin had made thought to move. A movement that was intertwine with his own as a direct link to his mistress. Inherent gifts passed on and learned without effort. The gift of seeing and FATE would be forever intertwined. A dangerous combination.

The creature moved with such liquid grace he defied even the most fluid motion of water, one with the air and the sky, though he needed neither. Bat like wings were spread full eagle throughout the entire movement.

Crimson eyes first set on Vain, the main quarry. Then they shifted toward the boy, he that held both time and chaos in each hand. He was not one to be triffled with. Then they turned and rested on Jin, watching as the holy knight attacked. Finally they rested on the emerald, ever so much more than it seemed. Crimson eyes glittered, and he moved toward that instead. Something drew him to it.

Wyrd could see his reflection in the gem, given a green hue. It was so alive, that reflection. A perfect mirror image to a paradox given a purposeless existance.

Ebon claws reared, and engraved the gem with three new gouges along the gem. As simple as cutting into glass with a diamond.

He waited.
