"How I know you, I can't positively say. But you're familiar to me, Zoltarra. Possibly from a vision."
Elements stirred within his mind, showing scenes of things that might be.
"I was waiting because I felt that the news I have to give all is something everyone should hear."
He bade her to follow him, then turned from her. A light flap of his wings sent him airborne, then again laid his feet to rest upon the top of a large platform that was no more than four feet off the ground.
"Gather around everyone.-
I have news to tell,
and it is not all well.
Beyond our barrier lies war.
Set on all by the barrier tore.
The Demon King returns to fight
Backed by his creatures that despise the light.
Vampires ask his side
By a woman they do bide.
Dark times to settle now
Should it be, I set a vow
To fight if it comes to be.
And I ask you all, who would fight with me?
Should the goddess herself ask you to,
or to save your home, the side you choose
Will determine this war so grave.
To die for home, or to live a slave.
I have been getting visions of this for some time, and this whole thing does not bode well. There are too many wild cards. Anything past this is very blurry, and sketching. I suggest that we prepare best we can, if not to fight, then to back and aide those who do. I suspect that the Hogoromo will be at the front lines.
These wild cards have objectives of their own, and one seems to want nothing to do with any of it, but will become involved if they're pushed if even a small bit."
Altrez shook his head then ran his fingers through his hair. Something else struck him, and he looked very disturbed.
"I'm worried about the others and Ariel. It's been quite a while since we've heard from them, and there's nothing of them I can 'see'."
He jumped down from the platform, and approached his mage.
"Myuler, see what you can scry out. I know you can."
The boy smiled and nodded. He quite liked being depended on.
"Alright 'Trez."
