I finally got the address right and arrived. I promise I will forward it to the Laulis and Hall families. I enjoyed reading all your notes. Jim gets plenty of jokes on E-Mail but I'm not bright enough to figure out HOW to get them to the board. He had some really neatcard tricks, too. You know these retired people spend a lot of effort on jokes etc. as evidenced by the number we recieve. Our transfer from dellnet to MSN did not go smoothly but we're hoping we're there now.
We had a wonderful time in N.O., Marty and Susan are fine, and they would enjoy your company, N.O. is a fun city. Now that Southwest flies out of Columbus watch for their cheap fares. It was 20 degrees warmer there than D.C. and it was spring, flowers blooming and leaves on most of the trees. We did some museums and sightseeing, went to her parents other house on the Florida beach near Pensacola, worked on the yard and ate LOTS of wonderful seafood. We watched ACC and SEC tournament basketball, Va disappointed uus but Ole Miss got to the championship game before they disappointed us. Now we're wondering if Va will even survive the 1st NCAA game on Friday. Marty was hhoping either Va or Ole Miss would play their games in N.O., but no such luck. He has tickets for Friday and Sunday games because his father-in-law is a professor at the U. of N.O.. I know Joe would have gone if Va went there but they are in Memphis.
Thus. and Friday won"t be fun days for me because my colonoscopy is tomorrow(Just a routine Q5 Yr check) and Friday is Kaiser. John will come home on Sat for the weekend. Tues I have a kaiser pap class in Silver Spring and work again on Thurs.
Jim is still trying to get the car problem he experienced inon the Sept trip to Ohio resolved. I'm supposed to go out and buy a new hot water heater, ours is leaking, it's 12 yrs old.
I tried to make reservations for May graduation but wasn't successful online so I guess I better try to call them about their deals to Columbus
Have a good weekend!
