Well the holidays are over once again. The boys are still home enjoying their last few days of winter break but everyone else has been back at it for a week already. Hope everyones holidays were as enjoyable as mine. It was great having all the kids home again. Not often they are all home at the same time anymore. The kids and Joe spoiled me again this year...it was great!!! I think the kids were all happy with what Santa brought. Hope everyone enjoyed the family Christmas party...it was great having everyone in attendance. I have some pretty good pictures of the candy cane passing game. But now it is back to reality.
Joe was in Florida last week for a show. Sorry Carrie and Chris..he was about 4 hours away or he would have dropped in for a visit. He said the weather was pretty cool but by the time he left it was around 70. Next week he has a trip to Dallas for a week, then in a week or so one to Vegas. Hopefully in March he goes to Vegas again and I will meet him midweek and we will stay for the weekend.
Everything is going well for the girls. Amy is back to her routine at Ft Recovery plus now she has her classes started back up at Wright State taking her required classes for teaching gifted as well as starting on her masters. Kristy is winding up her rotation in Internal Medicine at Lancaster. She has gotten use to the drive and has enjoyed the rotation. This is the type of medicine she thinks she is interested in persuing. Hopefully she will do well in her test and ask for a letter of recommendation. Jessica is keeping fairly busy subbing. She did get a call for a permanent subbing job for a 5th grade teacher at Darby Creek who is having twins. Her due date is early April so whenever she gets the call she will sub for her everyday until she comes back or the end of the school year. She was happy about that. She is getting ready to start apply for a permanent job for next year already. Kevin and Kent did well in their first semester of college. Hopefully the will maintain their gpa or even improve on them next semester.
Well that is the Knapschaefer update. Not much else happening here. Mom was all in a frenzie over her Anthem Insurance demutualization. I made all kinds of calls and thought I had it all explained and straightened out for her but after I explained it she said " Guess I don't know anymore now than before" so I give up. Her cold seems a little better.
Well I better get going. Take care everyone and have a great 2002.
