Well, we knew it would happen...three girls in their 20's, all with boyfriends. We are all excited about Amy and Shawn's engagement. The engagement party is still on for Friday at the restaurant. Everyone is invited to attend. The restaurant is open till 9. If you want to eat come before 9, if you just to want to share a drink come after 9. They are really handling all the planning on their own so far. I guess that is the advantage of them being older and more responsible. It was so much fun shopping for the wedding dress with Amy over the weekend. She looked really good in several of them, but I think we picked the perfect one for her. I guess I should make sure everyone has the correct date since we changed it 3 times. It is March 22,2003 at 2:30 in Coldwater, reception at Ft Recovery Legion.
Kristy is busy taking her 2nd set of boards. Yesterday was the first day (her birthday...what a way to celebrate) and today the final day. I'll be anxious as will she to have these over. Hopefully all goes well. They have started on their condo. Just the foundation but that is a start.
Jessica started school today. I'll be anxious to talk to her tonight to see how it went. She sounded like she was pretty well set with her classroom. Her and DJ will be home for the engagement party and her 5 year class reunion this weekend. We will need to celebrate her 23rd birthday, Kristy's 25th and Joe and my 29th anniversary this weekend sometime. Lots going on.
Kevin and Kent got moved into their apartment at Toledo without too much trouble. We had to go the Uhaul truck route. With two of them, with beds, couches, loveseat, table & chairs and desk..plus personal stuff it was just too much for the van and car to handle. The apartment was very nice and big. I was very surprised by the size and the amount of closet and cupboard space. I think they should be happy there this year. Hopefully they are busy studying and getting back into the school groove by now.
Well, I better get going. Hope all is well with everyone's families. Big wedding coming just around the corner so we will see everyone then. Carrie, glad to hear that baby is getting lots of exercise. Anxious to meet Marcella and see Marty again. It's been a long time. Sorry Joe, Allison and family can't make it. Julie, take it easy..don't burn yourself out. How exciting about going east for your master..if granny Abels got that right. Phyllis, I think the trip out west for Mom would be great. She has enough miles for a free trip to your house..I don't know how that stacks up for Phoenix or maybe that could be an early Christmas present from us kids? We'll talk next week. Take care!!
