Well, it's Wednesday already! Where do the weeks go. We had a nice weekend. Went to a party at Joe's boss' house Friday night. It's on the lake so we could see the fireworks from the Celina Lake festival. Saturday we had tickets to the Reds ballgame that Joe had won. First row seats right behind third base. They actually won with a homerun from Griffey Jr. and a grand slam from Dimitri so we got to see lots of fireworks that night too. The boys actually opted to go with us and give up a Saturday night of "going out with friends" which totally surprised Joe and I. We stopped at an interesting place to eat on the way down. It was called the Music Palace....had a huge Wuerlitzer organ in it that was played by a young gentleman. We all agreed it was probably the most memorable part of the trip, much more memorable than a Cookers or Applebees. Sunday I ran to Lima in search of a few things and on Monday the boys and I made a trip to Muncie for the infamous "college shopping". Got quite a bit accomplished. Considering that is only three weeks away I thought it was time to get moving. The Columbus shopping trip sounds like a great idea but I'll warn all the rest of you Abels...when the Knapschaefer girls are TAKEN shopping they don't bring THEIR wallets..ha ha. Well better get going. Joe is suffering in Long Beach, CA this week in 70-75 degree weather with no humidity. Amy is still busy teaching summer school and getting ready for school to start Aug 21st. Kristy is anxiously awaiting her board results. They were suppose to be here a couple of days ago but no news yet. Jeff did get great news this week...he past his CPA exams..so he is a full fleged CPA now. Everyone take care...we'll have a busy weekend this weekend. Jessica is in her best friends wedding..Beth Brunswick on Saturday plus we have the Community picnic going on and everyone is home. Talk again next week.
