He stated lightly, tilting his head to the side as he leaned against the back of the couch, his hand playing lightly through her hair as he held a quiet conversation. He didn't move away from her, there was nothing he didn't want her to hear in this conversation. It wasn't that he was trying to hide things from her, he was just tryingt o do everything in his power to keep her at her absolute safest - most of the time...ignorance really was bliss. --

Her hand played absently up and down his leg, settling eventually high on the inside of his thigh - television muted while she flipped channels still, eyes on the picture contently.
