London Underground services have been suspended after explosions in three stations and there are reports of multiple injuries.
Metropolitan Police confirmed that there was an explosion on a bus in central London, and news reports said there may have been two more.
Police said the explosion was confirmed on a bus in Tavistock Place in
central London, but they had no immediate report of casualties.
BBC and Sky News said they had received reports of other incidents aboard buses.

London was thrown into traffic chaos Thursday morning after an electrical power surge caused explosions on the 'tube' subway system, causing the entire network to be shut down.

British Transport Police said several passengers were reported injured.
Police said incidents were reported at the Aldgate station near the Liverpool Street railway terminal, Edgware Road and King's Cross in north London, Old Street in the financial district and Russell Square in central London, near the British Museum.
Bradley Anderson, a Tube passenger, told Sky News that "there was some kind of explosion or something" as his train reached the Edware Road station in northwest London.
"Everything went black and we collided into some kind of oncoming train," Anderson said.
