I am flawed
But I am cleaning up so well


Considering that he had once loved when work was slow and there was nothing that he had to do, it was a strange feeling for him to be itching for something to happen. Bailey was so busy these days with her new job, and his contract had run out with the agency and neither he nor the boss had expressed much interest in rewriting it, so he had been jobless for about... Oh, eight days, three hours, and forty-seven minutes. The longest eight days of his life, he was pretty sure. It was very different not doing anything when he was employed and not doing anything when he was unemployed. So, he had thrown himself into the ambitious task of watching every single talk show on television, every day - from Oprah to Ellen, to Maury, and Jerry, and Jay and Conan. He had made a whole cast of new friends, and was growing obsessive - but no worries, really, because one of these days, someone would call to offer him a new job. He wasn't about to go out job hunting, oh no, the Colin Black did not job hunt. Unshaven, but showered for the day, he was stretched out in his typical position on the couch - one hand above his head and the other resting over the remote on his stomach, eyes drifting shut for a few moments every once in a while - he was clearly near dozing...
