She listens intently, eyes widening at some points, shaking her head at others. When he finished, she gave a small chuckle.

silver eyes seem to glitter with amusement as she watches the others play, then slowly follow the gaze of the new dragoness. Hearing her story, she bows her head, a unreadable look comes upon her face for but a moments' time before it's wiped clean, as she begins to speak.
" Yes. That must be apart of our history as well. love is powerful in history, in my experiences of it... " her voice seems to trail off slightly, as thoughts whirl about in her mind, but she mentally hsakes them off for the time being. reminescing could be done later on.
" I am Neva. Pleasure to meet you, Dark Star. "

OOC=sorry it took me so long to reply. had 10 horses to bodyclip,worm,trim hooves, and work. Then had my barrel show & went to a miniature horse horseshow yesterday. it amazes me at how mini horse owners allow their minis to act like below-the-waist racetrack thoroughbreds. They were all jumping around,rearing,pushing,biting,kicking,threatening everyone, even their handlers. Plus all of them were spazzy idiots,lol. Definetly an interesting insight into the mini horse world...

Star moved her frame slwoly towards Shifter, and nuzzle him softly on the cheek. A soft chuckle protrudes through her throat. Dark eyes turn towrds the one dubbed Neva. A slight nod is given in her direction, as larynx readies itself to speak her fluid tones. Welcome, Neva, to Heaven's Gates. As Shifter said, I am Queen Dark Star. But please, do not hassle yourself with suck a long calling. You may call me Star. A soft smile curves up on her features, but is then slowly replaced with a slight frown. I am truely sorry about my absence. It seemed as though I was lost for a long period of time, almost in a sleep-like way. But I am awake, now, and am ready to again fulfill my duty as queen. As much as she knew she didn't have to make a little speech about her absense, she felt it almost needing to explain why she was absent.

((omg i don't know how long it's been sicne i've ridden a horse and i dearly miss it... i think it's been like over 1 1/2 years and i'm like going crazy now! i'm like obsessed with horses, and i think my friends know that by now, lol))

The queen sighed and looked around. Her homelands seemed a bit...well, empty. She moved herself away from the group to see the land better. Though quite beautiful, it needed something. Yes, it needed more dragons, but there needs to be something to get more members. But what? What could they possibly do to help their lands survive? Leisurely her limbs made their way back to the group beside her mate. Dark orbs turn to him with wonder and concern in their depths. Shifter, we need to do something to populate these lands like they were in the old times. Many have gone, but we can't help but live with what the past brought us. Our race is dying, and we need to do something about it. I know it may sound a little crazy at first, but maybe we could have the dark lands help populate the dragon kind once again. I remember you telling me of your daughters, and if I'm not mistaken, one of them lives in the dark lands. Perhaps she could be of some assistance? I am willing to risk my life to help populate these lands. Though her speech was long, she wanted to really express her idea. Sure it mind have sounded crazy -and Star was willing to do almost anything to help her lands- but she really thought that it could help. Her mother always told her that she had always a strong, but kind, spirit about her.

((okay, here's my little horse story! i work my hours to ride, so i only have to work about an hour or so, and i get to do that this saturday! -Jan. 29- yay!! so once that's over with, i'll go back to the stables that next week and get to ride!! me ish soooo excited!! i'm gonna be soo rusty tho!! lol))
