] Date Posted: 22:10:59 05/21/07 Mon It was dark. The only light came from the stars overhead. A slender dark form glided through the air high above the ground. The newcomer dragon scanned the ground ahead for signs of life. No movement, no indication that any living thing stirred below. However, there was a cliff in the distance. He sailed toward it, searching for a good place to land. Finding a clear spot overlooking the surrounding land, he set down slowly. Folding his wings, he examined his surroundings. Still empty and desolate. He had traveled far, searching for more of his kind, but finding none. Every land seemed barren and empty. This was his last hope. No more land lay beyond this, and he was too weary to travel further even if there were. He arched his neck, drawing in as much air as he could. Turning to face the land before him, he released a thunderous roar. The sound traveled for miles, the ground near him shook with it's force. He was calling. Date Posted: 22:27:25 06/17/07 Sun When no creature answered his call after several hours, Azure sighed. Now what would he do? There was nowhere else to go... But wait! A faint memory crept out of the depths of Azure's mind. It was a fragment of a legend, about a region called the Shadow Packs. Azure brightened slightly, perhaps there was a chance that he would find dragons there. If his memory served him well, this mythical land should be to the South.
