I believe a question concerning this matter would be appropriate at Doc's Roundtable. I would be curious to hear GD's take on this. If he was not aware of this development beforehand and did not anticipate that the alumni would be disappointed, then someone needs to question the decisionmaking. I do hope that he was aware of this and had a valid reason for not pursuing a relationship with WICC.

The question on Radio and in particular WICC comes up every year at Doc's Rountable. The answer is usually revolves around money and the Cost of putting games on WICC, in addition to the fact that WICC could only broadcast only a portion of our games because of them doing UCONN Men's and Women's.

However in light of SHU making that investment/decision, the question will be asked again, with the caveat of Why can SHU do it.

Hopefully the end result of this might force Fairfield to get back on Commercial radio.
