Great win, and big 2nd half. Dos Santos the star. I would think a lot more pressure in the semi's than Finals. They can ride their emotions in the championship game.

I think Marist was the Pre-season favorite to win tehMAAC, so should be a good battle.

I was there. If you look at soccer as a game where a bunch of guys in short pants simply kick a ball back and forth until someone eventually knocks it into the net, then you won't appreciate this Fairfield Mens Soccer Team. What I saw was a team with tenacity and highly-developed skills complemented by great team speed. Teamwork was characteristic of Fairfield's play as the ball was moved downfield with a series of passes. What struck me was that these guys seemed to know where their teammates would be even before the passes were initiated. The team was well-prepared and obviously the credit here belongs to Coach Rees.

The championship game is Sunday at noon versus Marist. If you can, come and support the team and Stagman, be sure to tape this game for Stagboy.
