Back from the game.

It is clear the absence of Mensah hurt, as Siena handled the ball poorly and turned the ball over repeatedly in the second half.

However, there are several other factors I can think of that contributed to the Fairfield comeback-Siena collapse

1) Hasbrouck all but disappeared in the second half - he couldn't hit the few shots he took.

2) Dave Ryan, for all the big shots he hit, missed some critical free throws down the stretch.

3) Siena allowed some key Stag shots late in the game (Todd's jumper, Han's 3 pointer)without responding.

4) The chance Siena had to take the lead was squandered, as the shot Fisher from the top of the key was a poorly selected shot, in my opinion. I wish I could see that sequence again, because I want to know what happened to Jordan, who I was sure would take the last shot.

Mensah missing time was important, but he played 25 minutes, so he obviously didn't miss 20. In addition, didn't the announcers mention the injury when he returned to the game? Mensah missed two FT's with about 3 and a half minutes left. They said that he didn't look right at the line after the first one and talked about him leaving earlier with an unknown injury, possibly to his side.
