Subject: NJHoops - St Pat's Big getting attention

NJHoops reports that Yannick Formbor-Nono is still listing the Stags.... thats the good news. The bad news is that other schools are starting to get involved, but hat was expected when he did not sign in the fall. We have been there from the beginning so hopefully that means something. I like how his play is decribed as "physical play and defense".

6-8 St. Patrick's Sr. Yannick Formbour-Nono came up big in the Celtics win over powerful St. Benedict's. Competing against the tall and talented Gray Bees front-line Formbour-Nono battled every inch of the way. He only finished with 4 points but his physical play and defense were instrumental in the win. He added 8 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals. The physical rebounder is rated by NJ Hoops as the second best available post prospect in the state. Formbour-Nono told NJ Hoops after the intense win on Tuesday that he was hearing from Toledo, Fairfield, St. Bonaventure, Drexel and Lasalle. Coaches from Drexel and Lasalle were at the game. Lasalle already has a commitment from his St. Pat's teammate 6 foot 6 Yves Mekomgo-Mbala.

BTW, NJHoops is a great website, and they also have a great monthly newsletter. For those of you that appreciate great info you should subscribe to either or both of their services.

Low output from Nono vs Patterson Catholic. No matter what his offensive numbers, I would like to see Nono a Stag.

Yannick Formbour-Nono 6 foot 8 St. Patrick's
1 assist, 1 rebound
Big man came off a great effort Tuesday vs. St. Benedict's
