Subject: CT Post - Fairfield claims stirring victory over Siena

Max states he knows the urgency of this game, and all others.

"For the rest of the season, we can't lose," said Maxwell, who was suspended by the university for the first semester. "There's a sense of urgency every night — games, practice, walk-through, whatever we're doing. No matter who we're playing, there has to be a sense of urgency."

"They kept coming," Siena coach Fran McCaffery said. "We had a couple of opportunities to pull away and they kept coming. They had a great effort."

"We did show some character and we did show some fight," Fairfield coach Tim O'Toole said. "We're still getting used to this team. We're a little more complete than we were two weeks ago. We can play 10 guys — they're all kind of interchangeable. We thought we were going to be able to come back, but we had to make stops."

Good win! I am a little disturbed at giving up so many points in the first half, our defense must really be like swiss cheese. Not too much time to bask in this as we have Canisius tomorrow. Didn't Canisius bomb Siena?

Great to see MAX step up and Han play well.

Only 1500? Let's hope for a little more support on Saturday....
